Evonne Murillo is founding School Operations Manager of KIPP University Prep.  Before arriving to KIPP, Ms. Murillo was an Assistant Principal at San Antonio Can! High School in San Antonio, Texas where her responsibilities included discipline, school safety, attendance, and student scheduling.  Ms. Murillo has taught Sociology and Character Development to high school juniors and seniors, and has been a school counselor/advisor for all high school levels.  In May, 2002, Evonne earned the Masters in Human Sciences degree from Our Lady of the Lake University (San Antonio).  She also earned her B. A. in Psychology with a Certification in Criminal Justice from the same institution in 1995.  Ms Murillo is currently working with the McNeil Educational Foundation to attain her state of Texas Principal Certification for the 2009-10 school year.
