• KIPP Un Mundo, Kinder (currently in the planning process)

Lottery: Enrollment in KIPP San Antonio schools is conducted via a lottery.  
 

Lottery Application:

1. Complete a Lottery Application form using one of the following methods.
   • Visit one of our school offices and fill out an application.
   • Attend one of our parent information meetings and fill out an application.
   • Complete an online application.
2. Lottery Applications must be completed and turned in to the school no later three days prior to the lottery.

1. The lottery will be conducted in the KIPP Aspire gymnasium Wednesday, May 3, 2012 at 6:00pm.
2. Siblings of currently enrolled KIPP San Antonio students have first priority for enrollment.
3. After all eligible siblings have been enrolled, and in the event that we have more applicants than available slots for a certain grade and/or school, all remaining applicants that have met the application deadline will be entered into a public lottery.
4. Student names will be drawn until all available slots at that grade and/or school have been filled.
5. Students not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list in the order that they are drawn in the lottery.
6. After all eligible siblings have been enrolled, and in the event that we DO NOT have more applicants than available slots for a certain grade and/or school, then all applicants that have met the application deadline will be enrolled in the school.
7. The lottery is open to the public and students and parents are encouraged to attend.

1. In the event that the school and/or grade has available slots, that student will be enrolled in the school.
2. In the event that the school and/or grade DOES NOT have any available slots, that student will be placed on the waiting list on a first come, first-served order.

1. Formal enrollment paperwork for the student must be completed no later than two weeks following the completion of the lottery. If the enrollment paperwork has not been completed by this date, the student risks losing their slot.
2. All students selected for enrollment in grades 6^th - 8^th will be required to undergo placement testing to determine the appropriate grade for the student.
