KIPP: Aspire Academy is a free public school (grades 5th - 8th) preparing students for college. We are located at 735 Fredericksburg Rd, four blocks southeast of I-10. There is no test for admission and no tuition.                        

KIPP: Aspire Academy opened in 2003, and over the last six years, its students have consistently achieved significant gains on state and national standardized exams. Students who entered the middle school nearly two grade levels behind in the 5th grade have doubleed thier readung scores and have ranked in the top 10 percent of students nationally in math.

KIPP: Aspire Academy is part of the Knowledge Is Power Program network of 82 public charter schools operating in primarily urban areas with undersevered populations. Since its inception in 1994, the KIPP: network of schools has garnered a track record for getting low-income students to college.

There are only 90 places available for our upcoming 5th grade class next school year. There are a few openings at 6th, 7th, and 8th grade level.
